Position Overview

Senior MuleSoft Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Development

• Design, build, and maintain

  Mule 4 applications

  using Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform.
• Implement

  API-led connectivity

  with System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Develop and maintain

  DataWeave 2.0 transformations

  for complex data mapping and integration scenarios.
• Build

  reusable integration assets

  such as connectors, templates, and frameworks.

• Architecture & Best Practices

• Apply

  integration patterns

  (orchestration, routing, scatter-gather, publish-subscribe).
• Ensure proper implementation of

  error handling, logging, and monitoring

  frameworks.
• Work with architects to align solutions with enterprise integration standards and roadmap.
  

• Deployment & DevOps

• Deploy MuleSoft applications across

  CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, hybrid, or on-premise environments

  .
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using

  Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

  .
• Manage version control and branching strategies (Git).
  

• Security & Compliance

• Apply

  API security policies

  (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, Client ID enforcement, rate limiting).
• Ensure integrations comply with enterprise data security and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI).
  

• Integration Ecosystem

• Integrate with enterprise platforms such as

  Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, AWS, Azure, GCP

  .
• Design and optimize

  database integrations

  (SQL, NoSQL) and

  file/batch processing flows

  .
• Support real-time, event-driven, and batch integration models.
  

• Quality Assurance & Performance

• Develop

  MUnit tests

  and automated regression test suites for Mule applications.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot production issues.
  
• Conduct

  peer code reviews

  to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with

  BAs, architects, QA, and DevOps teams

  to ensure seamless delivery.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience

  with

  MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

  (Anypoint Studio, Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub).
• Expertise in

  Mule 4

  runtime and

  API-led integration

  .
• Strong proficiency with

  DataWeave 2.0

  for complex transformations.
• Solid knowledge of

  integration design patterns

  and

  microservices architecture

  .
• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  , version control (Git), and automated deployments.
• Familiarity with

  cloud platforms

  (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of

  security standards

  (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML).
• Hands-on experience with

  databases (SQL/NoSQL)

  and messaging systems (JMS, Kafka).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft certification(s):
  

• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1/2

• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect

  (advantageous)
• Experience with

  monitoring tools

  (Anypoint Monitoring, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics).
• Exposure to

  RPA tools

  (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) or AI/ML integrations.
• Domain knowledge in

  BFSI, Pharma, Retail, or Manufacturing

  verticals.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
