Job Description:

As an Automation Engineer at Sigma Automation & Instruments, you will:

• Design, develop, and commission PLC/DCS-based automation systems.
• Work on configuration and programming for ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider platforms.
• Develop and implement HMI/SCADA screens and control logic for process automation.
• Integrate and test communication between field instruments, VFDs, and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and support automation systems both onsite and remotely.
• Prepare engineering documentation, I/O lists, and project reports.

Technical Expertise Required:

PLC & DCS Systems:

• ABB: ABB 800xA, CHMI, AC-500, Zenon, Freelance, Symphony Plus
• SIEMENS: All Series PLCs, DCS, PCS-7
• ROCKWELL: PLCs, DCS, WinCC, FactoryTalk View
• SCHNEIDER: PLCs with Aveva, Citect Software

Additional Skills:

• Good understanding of Server–Client architecture
• Knowledge of communication protocols: Modbus RTU/485, TCP/IP, Profibus DP, Profinet, Bacnet, EtherNetAPL
• Hands-on experience with VFDs (ABB & other reputed makes) is an added advantage

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel for project execution and commissioning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹320,843.17 - ₹775,742.70 per year
