We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager (Engineering) to lead our electrical panel manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in driving production efficiency and profitability.
will have a strong background in electrical engineering, production planning, and team management. They will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving profitability in our electrical panel manufacturing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Execution:
Plan and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
Ensure efficient use of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Monitor production progress and take corrective action to address any issues or delays.
2. Team Management:
Lead and motivate a team of production engineers, technicians, and operators.
Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
3. Inventory Control and Cost Management:
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and ensure effective use of resources.
Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
4. Quality and Reliability:
Ensure that all electrical panels and systems meet the required quality and reliability standards.
Implement quality control processes and procedures to prevent defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Project Execution:
Oversee the execution of projects, including planning, design, and implementation.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
6. Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and support to the production team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical panel manufacturing technology.
7. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all production activities are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.
Implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of HT, MV, and LV power systems, as well as power electronics systems.
Proven track record of driving production efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with POWER SYSTEMS Design and Manufacturing including automation and control systems, such as PLC, DCS, and SCADA.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
Experience with project management tools and software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹21,130.23 - ₹95,973.69 per month
