Job Description

Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Shell, PowerShell, and Python. • Lead infrastructure-as-code (IaC) efforts using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for automated cloud deployments. • Manage and scale cloud infrastructure within AWS, ensuring high availability and compliance. • Write efficient and reliable SQL queries to support automation of data processing and reporting workflows. • Operationalize automations to be robust, maintainable, and production-ready. • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. • Engage directly with customers for requirement gathering, solution demos, and ongoing support. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain work transparency using tools like JIRA. • Document automation standards, processes, and technical workflows. Required Skills and Experience • 7+ years of IT experience, with a strong focus on automation and scripting. • Proficient in Shell, PowerShell, and Python scripting languages. • 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud automation using Terraform and CloudFormation. • Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and VPC. • Experience in database environments with solid skills in writing complex SQL queries. • Demonstrated ability to independently design and deploy automation solutions. • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proven customer interaction skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with JIRA or similar tools. Preferred Qualifications • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus Show more Show less
