Job Description: AutoCAD Draftsman – Oil & Gas

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with strong experience in the Oil & Gas sector. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and updating detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and 2D/3D models with accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD for piping, mechanical, civil, and structural works.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and vendor drawings.
• Prepare GA drawings, Isometrics, P&IDs, Equipment Layouts, and fabrication drawings as per project requirements.
• Ensure drawings adhere to company drafting standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve technical queries.
• Maintain documentation, drawing registers, and revision histories.
• Assist in design reviews and provide drafting support during project execution.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Civil / Drafting or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & basic 3D).
• Good understanding of piping layouts, equipment drawings, structural detailing, and related standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Plant 3D, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Exposure to EPC or large-scale industrial projects.
• Understanding of international drafting standards (ASME, API).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
