Job Title: Mechanical AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman Company: TechExpert Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Location: Shivane Pune Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2-5 Years Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrial Design Salary: As per industry standards Job Summary: TechExpert Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical AutoCAD Designer/Draftsman to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating 2D mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD software, working closely with engineers to bring concepts and designs to life. Key Responsibilities: Prepare 2D mechanical drawings and detailed fabrication/shop drawings using AutoCAD. Modify existing drawings based on engineering changes and customer feedback. Understand and interpret engineering sketches, technical specifications, and product requirements. Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure drawings meet project needs. Maintain drawing files and documentation in an organized manner. Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant industry and company standards. Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Requirements: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D is an added advantage). Solid understanding of mechanical components, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and engineering documentation. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar 3D CAD tools is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience in mechanical design for industrial equipment, sheet metal, piping, or HVAC systems. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
