Role Overview

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements for public companies and other issuers in accordance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards.
• Liaise with the Engagement Quality Reviewer (EQR) to ensure compliance with audit quality and documentation standards.
• Supervise, guide, and review the work of the engagement team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit quality.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to discuss audit progress, key findings, and issue resolution.
• Prepare and review comprehensive working papers documenting procedures and conclusions at both financial statement and assertion levels.
• Evaluate internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting practices to identify and address audit risks.
• Ensure timely completion of audits while maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity and quality.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical growth and adherence to firm and regulatory requirements.
  

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and confidence in English, as the role involves regular client interaction.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and resolve issues effectively.
• Working knowledge of audit methodologies, preferably with experience in US GAAP audits.
• ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with international audit experience, or ACCA students/affiliates with a minimum of 2 years of audit experience.
• Willingness to work from our Ahmedabad office.
