Audit Engagement Leader

As an Audit Engagement Leader for the US Assurance Team at Pipara & Co LLP, your role primarily involves leading and executing US GAAP audit assignments in accordance with PCAOB standards. **Roles And Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage audit engagements for public companies and other issuers following US GAAP and PCAOB standards. - Collaborate with the Engagement Quality Reviewer (EQR) to ensure adherence to audit quality and documentation standards. - Supervise, guide, and review the work of the engagement team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit quality. - Maintain regular communication with clients to discuss audit progress, key findings, and issue resolution. - Prepare and review comprehensive working papers documenting procedures and conclusions at both financial statement and assertion levels. - Evaluate internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting practices to identify and address audit risks. - Ensure timely completion of audits while upholding the highest standards of professional integrity and quality. - Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical growth and adherence to firm and regulatory requirements. **Requirements:** - Strong communication skills and proficiency in English for regular client interactions. - Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively resolve issues. - Working knowledge of audit methodologies, preferably with experience in US GAAP audits. - ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with international audit experience, or ACCA students/affiliates with a minimum of 2 years of audit experience. - Willingness to work from the Ahmedabad office.,
