Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our audit processes, ensuring compliance with GAAS and regulatory standards. Duties Conduct audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to ensure compliance and accuracy. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they meet regulatory reporting requirements. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and related documentation. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for audits and provide insights on financial management practices. Write clear and concise financial reports that summarize audit findings and recommendations. Maintain accurate records in the general ledger accounting system. Support corporate accounting functions by analyzing financial data and providing actionable insights. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial services. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong understanding of GAAS, tax regulations, and regulatory reporting requirements. Proficiency in financial management principles and practices. Excellent financial report writing skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with corporate accounting processes and general ledger accounting. Strong analytical skills with a high level of financial acumen. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in auditing or relevant internships is a plus but not required.
