AIRIA plays a key role in promoting the interests of rubber manufacturers, traders, and allied sectors by providing a collaborative platform for business development, knowledge sharing, and industry networking. One of its flagship events, the India Rubber Expo (IRE), is among the largest exhibitions in Asia for the rubber industry.
Role Summary
We are seeking dynamic professionals for the position of Asst. Manager / Manager – Events & Exhibitions, who will be responsible for end-to-end event management, along with driving sales and marketing activities for the India Rubber Expo 2026 and related industry events. The role involves a blend of strategic planning, operational execution, client servicing, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Exhibition Management:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of AIRIA's events, including India Rubber Expo, technical seminars, roadshows, and networking sessions.
Oversee venue selection, logistics, vendor management, exhibitor coordination, branding, and on-ground execution.
Ensure smooth pre-event, on-site, and post-event operations in line with industry standards.
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales of exhibition booths, sponsorships, and delegate registrations by targeting companies in the rubber and allied industries.
Identify new leads and business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
Meet and exceed revenue targets through focused sales strategies.
Marketing & Promotion:
Support development and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, email, print, and social media) to promote events.
Coordinate with the creative and communications team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Engage with trade associations, industry partners, and media to boost visibility and participation.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as a liaison between AIRIA, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, and government/trade bodies.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of service delivery.
Preferred Candidate Profile
3–6 years of experience in events, exhibitions, or B2B industrial sales/marketing.
Strong understanding of the rubber, plastic, chemical, or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and event management platforms.
Willing to travel for events, promotions, and client meetings.
Qualifications
UG: B.B.A / B.M.S in Management, Event Management, or related field
PG: MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Event Management, or Business Development
