Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Operations

Prepare and manage export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, certificates of origin, etc.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and CHA (Custom House Agents) for timely shipment and clearance.
Ensure accurate filing of export declarations and compliance with export regulations.
Monitor shipment schedules and track deliveries to customers.
Handle pre- and post-shipment documentation for LC (Letter of Credit) and other payment terms.

2. Import Operations

Handle import documentation (Bill of Entry, Invoice, Packing List, etc.) for smooth customs clearance.
Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with warehouse/production teams.

3. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

Ensure compliance with international trade laws, exportimport policies (DGFT, Customs, EXIM Policy).
Manage export incentives (MEIS, RoDTEP, etc.) and ensure timely application.

4. Coordination and Communication

Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Production, QA) to ensure smooth exportimport processes.
Assist in negotiating freight rates and transport contracts.

5. Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of all exportimport transactions and documentation.
Prepare periodic reports on shipment status, costs, and export performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of export–import documentation and procedures.
Familiarity with logistics management.
Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge and Experience in Tally / ERP would be an added advantage
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail, organizational ability, and time management.
Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
