Asst. Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations:Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Financial Reporting:Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Reconciliation:Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Compliance:Ensure all financial activities comply with the hotel's policies and relevant financial regulations.
• Audit Support:Coordinate and prepare for internal and external financial audits.
• Data Analysis:Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights that help improve business performance.
• Process Improvement:Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Cash Flow Management:Assist with monitoring and forecasting cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for hotel operations.

Required Qualifications

• Education:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:Several years of accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or a similar industry.
• Software Proficiency:Strong knowledge of accounting software (like SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Certifications:Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are often preferred.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Attention to Detail: Crucial for maintaining accuracy in financial records and transactions.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed for liaising with various departments, management, and auditors.
• Leadership: The ability to lead and train junior accounting staff.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
