About the RoleThe

Associate Relationship Officer

plays a vital role in deepening customer relationships and delivering high-quality service in rural banking. The role supports the Relationship Manager in identifying business owners and entrepreneurs within the catchment area, assessing their loan needs, and driving client acquisition. The incumbent is responsible for building household-level relationships, promoting digital banking, and contributing to the overall growth and service excellence of the branch.Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct zoning activities to map household needs in assigned villages and catchment areas.
  • Perform end-user checks post-loan disbursal and work towards achieving monthly and annual group loan booking targets.
  • Assess client needs and generate new revenue through cross-sell opportunities based on lifestyle, risk profile, and financial requirements.
  • Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business acquisition, referrals, and relationship retention.
  • Encourage behavioural shifts in customers towards digital and online banking.
  • Maintain high collections efficiency through disciplined follow-ups.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for loans accounts.
  • Coordinate with operations officers for timely and accurate data entry.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct field audits and customer verifications to maintain account quality.
  • Stay informed about bank products, credit standards, services, and market trends to provide efficient customer service.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
  • Support the implementation of livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.
What We Are Looking For

Experience

  • 0–1 year of relevant experience in branch banking.
  • Freshers are encouraged to apply.
