Associate Manager - Procurement

As an Assistant Manager Procurement at our company based in Ludhiana, you will play a crucial role in the Projects & Purchases department under the guidance of the Head Procurement. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the end-to-end procurement process for both CAPEX and OPEX items in the real estate sector. Your attention to detail and dynamic approach will be instrumental in developing strong vendor relationships, conducting cost-effective negotiations, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services for our projects. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute procurement activities for construction materials, services, equipment, and consumables (CAPEX & OPEX). - Maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards throughout the procurement process. - Issue RFQs/RFPs, assess bids, and finalize purchase orders in a timely manner. - Identify, evaluate, and onboard trustworthy vendors, contractors, and suppliers. - Manage a comprehensive vendor database and conduct regular performance evaluations. - Cultivate long-term relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply, quality, and cost-efficiency. - Conduct negotiations on prices, credit terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings. - Analyze market prices and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency. - Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations during all procurement activities. - Keep transparent records of procurement transactions, agreements, and vendor documentation. - Adhere to internal audit and reporting requirements related to procurement processes. - Collaborate closely with project, design, and accounts teams to align on procurement needs. - Provide strategic procurement insights during project planning and execution phases. - Proactively resolve supply chain and vendor-related issues in coordination with relevant teams.
