Planning Manager

The Planning Manager role within the Projects / Planning & Control department at our Ludhiana location will have you reporting to the Project Head in the Real Estate Development industry. With a required experience level of 8-12 years, focusing on large-scale commercial real estate projects and multi-project environments, you will play a crucial role in leading the planning and control function across various commercial real estate development projects. Your responsibilities will include developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost tracking to ensure the timely delivery of commercial assets. This role demands a strategic mindset, hands-on expertise in planning tools, and effective coordination across internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Scheduling: - Develop and manage master schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project - Create phase-wise, activity-based schedules across multiple commercial projects - Define critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies 2. Monitoring & Control: - Track progress vs baseline schedules; identify delays and bottlenecks - Conduct variance analysis and support recovery planning - Regularly update project schedules across all active sites 3. Resource & Cost Planning: - Coordinate with procurement, contracts, and execution teams - Support cost planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting 4. Stakeholder Coordination: - Liaise with architects, consultants, vendors, and in-house departments - Align design, procurement, statutory approvals, and execution timelines - Facilitate review meetings and prepare executive reports 5. Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain records, schedules, delay logs, and prepare MIS reports and dashboards 6. Risk Management: - Identify and assess project risks; develop mitigation and contingency strategies Key Requirements: Education: - Bachelors in Civil Engineering (mandatory) - PG in Construction Management / MBA (preferred) Technical Skills: - Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel - Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (PMI/Lean) - Understanding of commercial project timelines, RERA, and statutory regulations Behavioral Competencies: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach - Ability to manage planning across multiple project sites simultaneously This is a full-time position with a day shift and fixed shift schedule, requiring in-person work at the specified location.,
