Associate Manager - Legal

The role involves providing support and legal assistance specifically in areas of Labelling and Packaging across diverse product categories. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the detailed review and approval process for all artworks and labels, ensuring legal compliance and proper substantiation of claims made on labels and artworks. You will work closely with Internal Stakeholders to ensure compliance across all labelling and packaging activities. In terms of Litigation and Notice Management, you will support in handling regulatory matters related to food laws for Amway India, including food litigation and representing the organization in court matters. You will also be responsible for drafting responses to legal notices. Additionally, you will support in Business Partnering by evaluating and reviewing offers and schemes for new and existing products, providing feedback on marketing content, advertisements, and promotional activities to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and brand integrity. You will advise on the wordings of terms and conditions for promotions and contests to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Furthermore, you will offer guidance on various legal issues such as DS rules, Labor laws, Factory and environment laws, consumers, Food Laws, Legal Metrology, ASCI, advertising and marketing-related issues, and other developments impacting Amway India's business. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in relevant laws and regulations, including advertising, marketing, and consumer laws. Strong understanding of Drugs & Cosmetic laws, Legal Metrology laws, Civil & criminal laws, Consumer laws, food laws, and Labor laws is required. Basic knowledge of Regulatory Compliance under FSSAI and Legal Metrology, as well as the India legal environment, is also necessary for this role.,
