Associate Manager - Legal

As a Legal Support Specialist focusing on Labelling and Packaging, your role involves providing legal assistance and support in ensuring compliance in these specific areas across various product categories. You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the detailed review and approval process for all artworks and labels through the designated approval portal. - Work closely with Internal Stakeholders to ensure legal compliance across all labelling and packaging activities on the products. - Ensure that all claims made on labels and artworks are properly substantiated by gathering relevant evidence and documentation from appropriate stakeholders before approval. In addition to Labelling and Packaging, you will also be involved in Litigation and Notice Management, which includes: - Supporting in handling regulatory matters for the company related to food laws, specifically in the context of Amway India. - Handling food litigation and representing the organization in court matters along with external counsels. - Drafting responses to legal notices as required. Furthermore, you will support in Business Partnering by: - Evaluating and reviewing offers and schemes for both new and existing products in the assigned category. - Providing feedback on marketing content, advertisements, and promotional activities to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and brand integrity. - Advising on the proper wordings of terms and conditions for promotions, contests, and other marketing activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. - Offering guidance on various legal issues that may arise, such as DS rules, Labor laws, Factory and environment laws, consumers, Food Laws, Legal Metrology, ASCI, advertising, and marketing-related issues. Qualifications required for this role include: - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including advertising, marketing, and consumer laws. - Strong understanding of Drugs & Cosmetic laws, Legal Metrology laws, Civil & criminal laws, Consumer laws, food laws, and Labor laws. - Basic understanding of Regulatory Compliance under FSSAI and Legal Metrology. - Familiarity with the India legal environment would be beneficial.
