Job Description

Specialist- Cargo Training & Development

A. Job Purpose:-

To support the planning, delivery, and administration of cargo training programs in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

The role holder ensures smooth coordination of training schedules, effective record-keeping, compliance monitoring, and administrative support for all cargo training and certification activities.

Key Accountabilities:-

Assist in designing, developing strategy, updating training programs and plans in alignment with IATA, DGCA, and other regulatory standards.

Identify training needs and propose development programmes for staff.

Assist in designing and developing training materials and development programs based on the organization s needs.

Assist in periodic training syllabus/module reviews internal & external.

Contribute to creating and implementing aggressive action plans to address repetitive training issues.

Coordinate training schedules, logistics, venues, and post-program follow-up.

Maintain training calendars and ensure timely dissemination of schedules to stakeholders.

Assist with supplier and external vendor relationships and ensure product training is conducted in a manner that adds value

Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation for training activities.

Perform department duties related to the role as directed by the Manager/Head of Department.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
