Associate Design Engineer

This is a full-time role, for the position of an Associate Design Engineer.

The role involves designing and optimizing support systems for MEP and structural applications, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant solutions for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. The engineer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions aligned with Hilti standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analysis of MEP support systems, including seismic bracing, integrated floor and ceiling grid structures, platforms, and walkways.
• Perform structural calculations, prepare design documentation.
• Support technical proposals, design approvals, and design validation activities.
• Collaborate with PMO, field engineers, and sales teams to translate project requirements into optimized design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international and Indian design standards (e.g., IS codes, Eurocodes, ACI, ASCE).
• Contribute to digital design workflows, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil / Structural

Proficiency in structural analysis and design tools (STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, etc.) and CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).

Strong understanding of steel structures, connection design, and MEP support systems.

Familiarity with seismic design concepts and relevant code requirements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across disciplines and functions.
