Danfoss Power Solutions Segment R&D, Technology and Engineering Job Description
This role will be primarily for environmental compliance activities of hydraulic pump, motor, valve & fluid conveyance products. It will be based out of Pune, reporting to Sustainability Product compliance at India Pune
- Ensure product environmental compliance declaration through industry regulation review and product details assessment
- Thorough understanding of environmental regulations & requirements, like REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Conflict Minerals, Machinery Directives, WEEE
- Awareness of product certification & industry legislative requirements
- Submit various industry regulation compliance declaration in IMDS/CDX
- Proficient in decoding the material flow from top assembly to child level & vice versa
- Proficient in basic engineering calculations for material density, weight & part sizing
- Experience in exploring, interpreting and decoding various material grades in metal to non-metal & it s composition
- Thorough understanding of engineering drawing reading & technical notes interpretation
- Mechanical component & hydraulic product/system awareness
- Awareness of manufacturing processes and coating/plating surface treatments
- Practitioner of large data handling, analytics & dashboards
- Can plan, monitor and track project activities
- Familiarity with Data base management system like PLM/ERP and salesforce
- Developing process flow, knowing interdependencies and continuous improvement
- Stakeholder Management & KPI monitoring
