Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling core accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial transactions. Your role will require a high level of PC literacy, including proficiency in Excel and PeopleSoft. Effective communication skills and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential for this position. You should uphold a high standard of integrity and be open to continuous learning and improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Perform daily journal vouchers and ensure they are posted accurately in PeopleSoft. - Review daily checklists and ensure all tasks are completed promptly. - Respond to Generic-id emails within 24 hours. - Download month-end reports from the Receivables Subledger System. - Post month-end journals in SAP following the standard list. - Upload all posted JVs into the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). - Prepare manual sub-ledgers and update desk procedures as needed. - Generate monthly metrics to track performance. - Participate in BDO process walkthroughs and support GAO audits annually. - Review procedures regularly and support MCRP design and testing. - Maintain the Business Continuity Plan and review Finance Manual changes. - Handle ad-hoc projects as required. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountants, Cost and Management Accountants, or individuals with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and solid accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
