PhysicsWallah (PW), founded in 2020 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari, is an education company headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. PW aims to democratize education through online, offline, and hybrid platforms, initially launched as a YouTube channel in 2014. The company offers education in multiple vernacular languages and spans various educational segments, including test preparation, skilling, higher education, and study abroad. Additionally, PW has established the Institute of Innovation (IOI), providing residential job-ready programs. PW has received significant funding from investors such as Hornbill Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Westbridge, and GSV Ventures.


Role Description


1. Admissions & Business Growth

Own and deliver center-level admission targets for JEE & NEET divisions.

Plan & execute strategies to maximize student enrollments.

Drive revenue growth by aligning sales, marketing & academic teams.


2. Leadership & Team Management

Lead Sales Executives, Marketing Managers & Center Teams.

Set clear goals, track performance, and ensure accountability.

Build a culture of teamwork, discipline & high performance.


3. Marketing & Lead Generation

Design & execute BTL campaigns (school/college tie-ups, seminars, roadshows, education fairs, scholarship tests, kiosks, community events).


Drive strong branding & visibility for PW across Hyderabad.

Monitor ROI of campaigns and optimize for better outcomes.


4. Business Operations

Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned centers.

Ensure seamless coordination between Sales, Presales, Marketing, Academic & Post-sales teams.

Track student experience, parent satisfaction & feedback loops.


5. Strategy & Reporting

Analyze admissions data & market trends to shape future plans.

Identify new business opportunities & partnerships.

Share MIS reports with Business Head & leadership.


Must-Have Skills & Qualities

6+ years in Sales & Marketing, with 2+ years in a leadership role.

Experience in EdTech, K-12 Education, Test Prep, FMCG, BFSI, or Telecom.


Expertise in BTL/field marketing & lead generation.

Excellent communication skills in English, Telugu & Hindi.

Proven track record of achieving sales/admissions targets.

Strong leadership, people management & problem-solving abilities.
