Associate Architect ( Required Skills - Security architecture, Azure security design, Application secure flow design)

The Information Security Designer (Associate Architect) is responsible for architecting secure systems and infrastructure across the enterprise. This role ensures that security is embedded into the design phase of all technology initiatives, aligning with zero-trust principles and regulatory frameworks. The designer collaborates with IT, architecture, engineering, operations, risk and compliance teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

· Define secure design patterns and reference architectures aligned with security frameworks, business and regulatory requirements.

· Deep Understanding of OWASP web /API /mobile, STRIDE, NIST CSF framework.

· Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments during the design phase of systems and applications.

· Identify design deficiencies and propose enhancements to ensure production stability and security

· Design data classification and protection mechanisms, including encryption, DLP, and RBAC during design phase.

· Expert understanding of security design controls in areas of edge traffic, azure, web application architecture and secure traffic communications.

· Maintain secure configuration baselines and enforce them across environments.

· Work closely with IT, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into system designs.

· Participate in design reviews and provide expert guidance on secure architecture decisions.

· Actively contribute to team meetings focused on secure design and architecture.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

· 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.

· 5+ years of experience in security architecture and/or design roles.

· Strong understanding of cloud platforms, network security, and IAM.

· Experience with Web Application Firewalls, Proxies, SASE and Cloud Security.

· Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates) and DevSecOps practices.

· Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, or SABSA are preferred.

· Strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise.

· Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.

· Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable to evolving threats and technologies.ate Architect will design and implement secure architecture solutions, focusing on Azure security, application secure flow, and overall security architecture. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, evaluating security requirements, developing secure systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing guidance in project execution to ensure robust information and application security.

• Strong expertise in Architecture, Architectural Design, and Integration.
• Experience in Software Development and Project Management.
• Knowledge of cloud-based systems, compliance standards, and information security best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage complex projects effectively.
• Relevant certifications in security, architecture, or cloud platforms are highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
