Job Responsbilities
  • Lead Product Ideation, conceptualization, planning and execution.
  • Maintain right product mix and ensure high portfolio quality
  • Drive channel development initiatives to expand reach and customer engagement.
  • Benchmark competitor offerings and recommend changes to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Draft and support approvals for business cases, product notes, and policy modifications.
  • Drive Agri business via branches and develop value proposition for Agri and MSME Segment.
  • Budgeting and cost rationalisation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team including Risk, Tech and compliance to Automate and digitalise customer onboarding servicing for high quality product experience.
Experience
  • 3 6 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or branch operations (preferably gold loans/retail assets).
  • Exposure to regulatory norms, Agri business and digital lending solutions is desirable. Local Market knowledge of southern part of India will be preferred.
Education
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Management.

  • Regulatory Compliance Expertise: Sound knowledge of retail banking products, processes, and a deep understanding of regulatory guidelines pertaining to Gold Loans in India.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and develop practical solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, Tech, Risk, Audit, etc.).
  • Process Orientation: Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and a drive for continuous improvement.
Technical Competencies
  • Basic understanding of Gold Loan product mechanics, valuation, and operational flows.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements specific to Gold Loans (e.g., RBI norms, LTV ratios, interest rate caps, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial and business performance metrics effectively.
  • Familiarity with banking technology landscapes and the ability to work effectively with local and regional tech teams for system enhancements and data extraction.
Work Relationship
  • Internal: Gold Loan Sales Team, CBG COO Team, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, Technology, Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other relevant business units.
  • External: Regulatory bodies (as required), auditors, and potentially external vendors or consultants.
