Role Summary

AVP – Marketing

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and revenue objectives.
  • Define annual marketing plans, budgets, and KPIs to ensure measurable impact.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Finance, Operations) to support business priorities and market expansion.

2. Brand Management

  • Strengthen brand positioning, identity, and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and visual identity across campaigns and platforms.
  • Oversee corporate communications, public relations, and reputation management efforts.

3. Digital Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Lead digital initiatives across paid, owned, and earned media (SEO, SEM, social, display, email, influencer marketing).
  • Drive performance marketing campaigns focused on acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize digital performance metrics to maximize ROI.

4. Product & Campaign Marketing

  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new launches.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns (ATL, BTL, and digital) to build awareness and drive conversions.
  • Manage creative, media, and event agencies to ensure high-quality and timely execution.

5. Data & Insights

  • Utilize analytics, market research, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities.

6. Team & Budget Management

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team across brand, digital, and communication functions.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring ROI-focused spend allocation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.

  • Strategic thinker with strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing, brand building, and integrated campaign management.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven record of driving brand growth, customer engagement, and measurable marketing ROI.
  • 5–10 years of experience, preferably in

    youth/lifestyle, D2C, new-age hospitality, F&B, or retail brands

    .
  • Demonstrated ability to execute hands-on marketing initiatives — not just strategize.
  • Startup experience preferred.

  • Have worked in a brand targeting young millennial audiences.
  • Have experience in lifestyle, travel, or hospitality domains
  • Love travel and understand the hostel/travel culture deeply.
