Location: Bangalore (Travel Required) About goSTOPS goSTOPS is a vibrant chain of backpacker hostels with 30 properties across India. We create unique and memorable stays for young travelers and backpackers, fostering a strong sense of community and inclusivity. Role Summary: We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Human Resource Welfare Executive to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring employee well-being across our locations by driving engagement, resolving HR-related concerns, managing employee benefits (including food and accommodation), and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour laws. This position requires frequent travel to our hostel properties across the region. Key Responsibilities: Employee Welfare: Serve as the go-to person for employee welfare at all properties. Address concerns promptly and ensure a supportive, inclusive work environment. Employee Engagement: Develop and implement engagement activities that promote employee satisfaction and strengthen workplace culture. Employee Query Resolution: Respond to employee queries and concerns related to HR policies, compensation, schedules, and working conditions. Policy Implementation & Compliance: Ensure consistent application of company HR policies and promote awareness among property teams. Employee Benefits Oversight: Ensure that all employee benefits, including insurance, leave entitlements, and food and accommodation facilities, are provided accurately and fairly. Regularly check that food and accommodation standards meet internal guidelines and employee expectations. Coordinate with property managers to resolve any issues related to the delivery of these benefits. HR Audits: Conduct periodic HR and welfare audits at each property to verify compliance with employee benefits (especially food and accommodation), documentation, and policy adherence. Prepare audit reports and ensure follow-up on any non-compliance or gaps identified. On-Site Visits: Travel to goSTOPS hostels for employee check-ins, welfare inspections, engagement activities, and training. Reporting: Maintain detailed records and reports on employee welfare issues, engagement efforts, audits, and benefit tracking. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-location businesses. Solid understanding of employee welfare practices, HR policies, and benefit structures. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
