Assistant Store Manager

A. Raw Material Management

• Receive, inspect, and store raw materials such as kraft paper, duplex board, adhesives, inks, chemicals, straps, and packing materials.
• Verify GRN (Goods Receipt Note) with purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and FIFO/FEFO compliance.

B. Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate stock records in manual registers / ERP system.
• Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
• Report shortages, damages, and slow-moving items.

C. Issue & Dispatch

• Issue raw materials to production as per authorized requisitions.
• Maintain issue slips and consumption records.
• Coordinate dispatch of finished cartons/boxes as per dispatch plan.

D. Documentation & Records

• Maintain records for GRN, Issue Notes, Stock Ledger, Rejection Notes, and Return Notes.
• Coordinate with Accounts for invoice matching and stock valuation.
• Assist during internal and external audits.

E. Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and organized layout of the store area.
• Follow safety norms, fire safety, and material handling procedures.
• Ensure safe handling of paper reels and heavy materials.

F. Coordination

• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts departments.
• Communicate material shortages or quality issues in advance

• Responsible for custody and control of store materials.

4. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Graduate / Diploma (preferred)
• Experience: 2–5 years in stores/inventory in carton / packaging / manufacturing industry
• Skills Required:
• Inventory management
• Basic computer & ERP knowledge
• MS Excel
• Documentation & coordination skills

5. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

• Inventory accuracy
• Zero production stoppage due to material shortage
• Timely GRN and issue posting
• Audit compliance
• FIFO adherence

6. WORKING CONDITIONS

• Factory-based role
• Shift duty as per production requirements

Authorized to reject damaged or non-conforming materials (with approval).

• Accountable for stock accuracy and material traceability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
