Assistant Store Keeper

Job Description: Assistant Store Keeper Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 Industry: Hospitality (Restaurant / Hotel / Cafe) Position Overview The Assistant Store Keeper will support the Store In-charge in managing daily store operations, maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper material handling, and assisting with internal transfers. The role requires strong attention to detail and basic knowledge of inventory software (Petpooja / similar applications). Key Responsibilities Store Management Assist in day-to-day store operations. Ensure proper organization and cleanliness of the store area. Maintain accurate stock records and support regular stock audits. Material Handling & Shelving Receive material and arrange items on shelves in an organized manner. Ensure materials are stored safely and easily accessible. Check expiry, damages, and quality before accepting stock. Stock Maintenance Update stock inward/outward entries promptly. Monitor stock levels and report low-stock alerts to the Store In-charge. Assist in preparing purchase indents based on store requirements. Internal Material Transfer Coordinate and document internal transfers between departments/outlets. Ensure accurate records of material movement. Petpooja Application (Basic Knowledge) Update stock entries in Petpooja or similar POS system. Coordination Work closely with the kitchen, cafe, restaurant, and operations team. Support month-end stocktaking . Required Skills Store management Material receiving & shelving Stock handling and record-keeping Internal material transfer documentation Basic computer skills Basic knowledge of Petpooja application (or willing to learn) Good communication & coordination Attention to detail and discipline QualificationsMinimum 12th pass Experience: 6 months – 2 years in hospitality (restaurant, hotel, cafe) preferred
