Assistant Sales Manager

The job involves inspecting sold jewellery items for quality, weight, hallmark, and finishing before delivering to customers. You will be responsible for verifying product details such as weight, pricing, SKU, diamond/gemstone quality, etc. against the invoice. Additionally, ensuring that all jewellery sold is properly packed, tagged, and accompanied by the necessary certificates like BIS Hallmark and diamond grading certificates. Maintaining daily records of inspected and delivered items will be part of your routine. You will also need to coordinate with the sales and stock departments to facilitate smooth order processing and ensure timely delivery. It will be your responsibility to identify and report any discrepancies or product damage before delivery and uphold compliance with internal control systems and safety standards. Conducting random checks on jewellery stock and sales entries to ensure accuracy is also a key aspect of the role. Addressing and escalating customer complaints related to product quality, when necessary, is part of the job scope. The job type is full-time and involves day shifts. The work location is in person.
