As a Purchase Manager at RSDL, you will play a crucial role in handling the procurement process, sourcing suppliers, and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain and optimize costs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency. - Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational goals. - Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution, and fostering long-term partnerships. - Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns, and implementing inventory management strategies. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience as a purchasing manager within the Indian market. - In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices. - Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation techniques. - Proficiency in using procurement software and systems. - Knowledge of local and national laws and regulations related to procurement.
