Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching content, designing and updating academic curricula, fostering critical thinking in students, and mentoring them in their academic and career goals. The role also includes conducting research in computer science disciplines, publishing findings in renowned journals, and participating in academic committees and university events. Collaboration with peers to improve teaching practices and contributing to a positive, innovative academic environment will be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of core Computer Science concepts and methodologies
• Expertise in specialized fields such as Data Science and Cybersecurity
• Proficiency in Programming and curriculum development for technical courses
• Commitment to academic research and publication in the field of Computer Science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and student mentoring
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field (required)
• Prior teaching experience at the university level (preferred)
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative and innovative academic environment
