Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Mohali district for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science, developing academic curriculum, conducting research, and supervising student projects. Responsibilities include mentoring students, publishing research papers, and contributing to the department's academic and research initiatives. The Assistant Professor will also support collaborative and interdisciplinary projects within the institution.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a relevant field is required

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science foundation, including core concepts in areas such as algorithms, systems design, and software development
• Proficiency in Programming and its application in solving complex computational problems
• Experience or expertise in Data Science and Cybersecurity
• Familiarity with Curriculum Development tailored to modern advancements in Computer Science

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a relevant field is required

• Proven track record of research with publications in reputed journals
• Ability to foster a collaborative environment and mentor students effectively
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in teaching
