About the Role

Assistant Manager – Product Support

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Relationship Management

  • Handle OEM customers, end-users, and channel partners with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and proactive support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related support requests.

Technical Support & Failure Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive failure analysis for field and in-house product issues.
  • Organize and lead field failure review meetings with customers and internal teams.
  • Prepare and submit

    CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)

    reports in a timely manner.
  • Support both

    new products

    and

    delivered products

    by providing technical insights, usage guidance, and performance feedback.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Collect, maintain, and analyze customer complaint data on a regular basis.
  • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal review and customer meetings.
  • Present findings, trends, and resolutions effectively to customers and the management team.

Team Management

  • Manage and guide the in-house and field servicing teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct training sessions for in-house service engineers and field service teams on product knowledge, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (CFT) including R&D, Production, Quality, and Sales for issue resolution and product improvement.

Coordination & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate actively in internal CFT meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Provide structured feedback to the design and development teams for continuous product enhancement.
  • Support OEM integrations and Superfan product installations where required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of electrical & electronics systems (preferably fans, motor controls, or drives).
  • Excellent analytical and failure analysis skills.
  • Good presentation and communication abilities.
  • Strong team management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools for data analysis and presentation.
