Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Procurement for civil with a strong background in cost estimation , Boq preparation, Design Engineering and tendering for civil. specifically in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor management, tender evaluation, and supporting the execution of civil packages in line with project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and technical specifications for civil works in WTP/WWTP projects.
  • Float RFQs, analyze vendor quotations, and prepare comparative statements.
  • Manage end-to-end civil procurement processes – from requisition to delivery and vendor payment coordination.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.
  • Evaluate civil vendors and subcontractors based on capability, compliance, and pricing.
  • Assist in tender preparation, including documentation, compliance review, and technical submissions.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor market trends, material rates, and supplier performance to support cost control.
  • Ensure procurement complies with project standards, contract requirements, and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, estimation, and tendering in infrastructure or industrial projects – preferably in water or wastewater treatment sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, codes, and contracting practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and procurement ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in EPC contracts or public sector WTP/WWTP projects.
  • Familiarity with CPWD, FIDIC, or other civil contract norms.
  • Understanding of environmental and safety standards in construction procurement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
