Assistant Merchandiser

JOB DESCRIPTION Assistant merchandiser*- The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in managing the supply chain, ensuring the smooth execution of orders, and maintaining effective communication with vendors and clients. This role involves coordinating between design, production, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality furniture products to international markets.

Responsibilities:

Order Management:

Assist in processing and tracking orders from receipt to delivery.

Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.

Coordinate with production teams to address any issues affecting delivery timelines.

Vendor Coordination:

Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and track shipments.

Maintain accurate records of vendor communications.

Data Management:

Maintain and update product data, including specifications, pricing, and availability, in the company’s merchandising system.

Prepare and analyze sales reports and performance metrics.

Market Research:

Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.

Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform merchandising strategies.

Administrative Support:

Prepare and manage documentation related to orders, shipments, and vendor contracts.

Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal meetings.

Customer Service:

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders and product delivery.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and merchandising software.

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,224.61 - ₹46,624.32 per month
