Assistant Manager(Retrofit)

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Performance

• Consistently exceed booking and shipment targets in the assigned territory.
• Manage assigned accounts, ensuring proactive engagement and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate proposals/quotations as per the sales process.
• Drive sales and retrofit campaigns to boost revenue, margins, and brand loyalty.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming their preferred service partner.
• Understand customer needs to offer tailored HVAC and retrofit solutions.
• Maintain detailed customer/competitor records and analyze feedback to improve market share.
• Apply value-selling techniques to increase margins and closing rates.

Product Knowledge & Sales Strategy

• Promote HVAC and retrofit solutions following established sales strategies.
• Manage territory through regular engagement with REP firms, engineers, property managers, and building owners.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Implement best practices for consistent sales excellence.

Administration & Reporting

• Update CRM in real time and track all sales activities.
• Prepare bi-weekly sales/marketing reports.
• Collaboration & Development
• Coordinate with internal teams to improve operations and service delivery.
• Support special projects and participate in trade associations (e.g., ISHRAE, ASHRAE, IGBC).

Requirements

• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree, customer-centric mindset.
• 5+ years in direct, value-based HVAC and retrofit sales.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, retrofit applications, and product selection software.
• Experience with CRM, sales forecasting, and complex sales cycles.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 and delivering impactful presentations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
