With our rich experience in the history andprogress of Indian tax law and administration, we help clients build stable andsustainable tax strategies that combine technical, practical, and commercialaspects. The department provides services like - Preparation and review ofIndividual and Corporate Tax Returns, Revenue Audits and Litigation, Tax HealthChecks, Withholding Tax Compliance, Tax Advisory Services, CertificationServices, Departmental Interactions, and Other Direct Tax Compliances.

Role Description

Therole involves driving digital transformation within the tax function byidentifying automation opportunities, developing and implementing technology-drivensolutions, and enhancing process efficiency. The incumbent will collaboratewith tax, technology, and business teams to design, test, and deploy innovativetax automation tools, while also exploring emerging technologies to strengthenthe firm’s digital capabilities and client offerings.

Key Result Areas:

1. TechnologyImplementation & Process Improvement

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technological solutions to optimize tax processes.
  • Analyze existing workflows to pinpoint automation opportunities and drive measurable efficiency gains.
  • Deliver tangible results through reduced manual effort, improved turnaround time, and enhanced data accuracy.

2. Tax Automation Strategy

  • Assess technology tools and platforms for process automation and recommend the most suitable solutions.
  • Partner with internal tax teams to conceptualize and design customized tax technology products aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure each solution delivers quantifiable impact, such as faster reporting, improved compliance accuracy, or cost savings.

3. Collaboration &Solution Development

  • Collaborate with internal and external technology teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
  • Translate tax technical requirements into clear functional specifications for technology developers.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of automation solutions that meet business objectives.

4. Testing & QualityAssurance

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solution functionality and ensure tax logic accuracy.
  • Identify and document system enhancements or error corrections to ensure robust final deployment.

5. Innovation &Emerging Technologies

  • Stay abreast of new technologies (AI, RPA, data analytics, etc.) relevant to tax transformation.
  • Evaluate and pilot emerging tools to continuously improve tax efficiency and digital capability.

6. Collateral &Go-to-Market Enablement

  • Conceptualize and develop marketing collaterals, demos, and presentations for technology solutions.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to promote tax technology offerings and support client engagement initiatives.

Required Competencies, Skills,and Experience

  • Qualified CharteredAccountant/MBA with 3-5 years with sound knowledge of,

o Tax compliance matters mainly filing of taxreturns, TDS returns, TCS returns, etc.

o Certification work in respect of filing of Form15CB, Form 15CA, Form 3CD, Form 3CEB, etc.

o Direct tax, international tax laws,GST/indirect taxation

· · Working Knowledge of databases andsoftware/applications/platforms

· · Proficient in MS Office and accounting packages(like SAP, Oracle, etc) would be an added advantage.
