Assistant Manager - Technical Services

Job Purpose:

To lead technical services and project support for Gypsum-based systems across Gujarat. The role ensures high-quality execution, customer satisfaction, contractor capability building, and technical differentiation to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to sales/key accounts mock-ups, site meets, product demos, complaint resolution, and solution recommendations.
• Manage regional technical activities for Gujarat and support West-1 (Mumbai) region as required.
• Oversee execution and site certification for drywall and specified projects.
• Build and develop a strong pool of trained and capable contractors/installers.
• Conduct onsite/offsite technical training programs for contractors and applicators.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, contractors, and channel partners to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor practices.
• Support sales teams with technical differentiation and value-added services.
• Maintain documentation for site activities, complaints, and customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong technical knowledge of Gypsum systems: Drywall, Ceilings, Gypsum Plaster, and installation practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and troubleshoot site issues.
• Proactive, team-oriented, adaptable, and willing to travel frequently.
