Assistant Manager - Taxation

Responsibilities

• Compliances related to GSTR 6:-
• -Ensure 100% distribution of correct and complete GST Credit (including RCM).
• -Reconciliation of GSTR 6 Vs GSTR 6A Vs Purchase Register.
• -Regular follow up with buyers/vendors for necessary correction required at their end, hold payable balances of defaulters, block vendors who are defaulting on continuous basis.
• -Reconcile GST Input and Distribution GL, ensure correction JVs are accounted accurately and timely in books (on quarterly basis).
• -Reversal of GST credit for non payment of payment of supplier and subsequent reavailment on payment on monthly basis.
• -Preparation of ISD Cross Charge to respective GSTIN(s).
• -Timely communication to all concerned persons for any discrepancy in relation to loss of credit.
• -Reviewing Income Tax computations for Subsidiary entities.
• -Filing online correction for intimations u/s 143(1) for AIS & it's subsidiaries.
• -Maintain Income Tax Litigation trackers for AIS and it's subsidiaries.
• -Maintain Income Tax Refund tracker for AIS and it's subsidiaries.
• -Prepare workings and submissions in respect of Income Tax Proceedings for AIS and it's subsidiaries.
• -Prepairing of Tax memo on request raised by the management.
• -Prepairing / circulation and closure of 26AS Reconciliation.
• - Prepairing of necessary schedules for Tax Audit.
• Coordination with cross functional teams and data collation/preparation for notices raised by the customs authorities.
• Draft the submissions for all the notices/SCN, and any other litigation letter received from the custom
• Responding to the queries of cross functional teams (eg. Rate of duty, FTA benefit, CTH classification, etc.).

Qualifications

• 3- 4 years experience in manufacturing industry
• CA - Inter/ CA
