Assistant manager / Senior Executive - Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing:

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, review, and process monthly payroll & employee claims.
• Match invoices with purchase orders, agreements and receiving documents to verify pricing, quantities, and terms.
• Ensure timely approval and auditing of invoices in accordance with company policies.
• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.

Vendor Management:

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• New vendor creation in accounting software.

Month-end Close and Reporting:

• Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports and other financial reports as needed.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable transactions.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in accounts payable workflows.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls within the accounts payable function.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in accounts payable automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in accounts payable roles, preferably in the service industry.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
