Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer - Electrical Design at ENGIE, your key responsibility will be to manage and coordinate engineering work packages for multiple projects in the power generation sector, specifically in solar PV projects. You will be responsible for preparing complex engineering deliverables, conducting feasibility studies, drafting commercial agreements, and ensuring all technical aspects of the projects are in line with performance, safety, and quality standards. Your role will also involve collaborating with internal and external team members, supporting construction and operations, and contributing to technology watch within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate engineering work packages for multiple projects - In charge of contractual negotiations during Business Development for technical-related agreements - Prepare complex engineering deliverables and calculations - Knowledge of IS, IEC, and IEEE standards related to engineering deliverables - Preparation and review of engineering design work, solar PV layouts, SLDs, engineering calculations, etc. - Work closely with procurement and construction teams - Prepare owner specifications and negotiate agreements - Conduct factory visits and site visits - Preparation of SOPs and Checklists for various processes - Support Lenders due diligence and internal approval process - Coordinate with all internal and external team members on multiple projects - Perform technology watch and share knowledge within the team Qualification Required: - Masters/Bachelors degree in engineering BE/BTech or equivalent - Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the power generation sector, ideally in Solar & Wind sector - Minimum 5 years of experience in project management/technical coordination function on solar PV projects - Knowledge in other renewable technologies such as BESS and Wind would be advantageous - Basic understanding of HV/MV/LV electrical systems - Experience working on competitive tenders in different regions - Good people management skills, proactive, stress-resistant, and results-focused - Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and strong technical aptitude Additional Details: ENGIE is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
