Assistant Manager Projects

You will be responsible for leading the onsite execution of store setups for Marks & Spencer, focusing on driving continuous improvement in project execution and related processes. Your key deliverables will include managing small projects, ensuring compliance with Fire, Health & Safety regulations, cost control, quality standards, and project schedules. Your role will involve performing project management tasks across various projects with in-house PMC, including travel and working from outstation sites. You will be required to implement specific Fire, Health & Safety plans, Quality plans, Master Project Schedules, and Project Execution Plans, ensuring adherence throughout the project duration. Close communication with the Design Manager, Cost & Procurement Manager, Design Consultants, and Developer will be essential to address design issues and coordinate activities effectively. You will also be responsible for managing the technical and financial closeout of projects within the allocated timeline, including the submission of Handing over documents to NSO/Store teams. Tracking and maintaining the Master Project schedule with project resources such as manpower, material, and equipment will be crucial for timely project delivery in agreed store standards. Additionally, you will oversee pending items and defects rectifications, ensuring sign-off from the Store Team and Design Manager. Your role will involve participating in Post Implementation Reviews for completed projects to identify lessons learned, analyze delays, review vendor and supplier performance, and provide feedback for new projects. Regular reporting on projects covering various aspects like Fire, Health & Safety, Risk & Mitigation, Progress, Manpower, Design, Cost tracking, Quality, Site pictures, and Developer issues will also be part of your responsibilities.
