Financial Outcomes

  • Evaluation and Validation

    :
Monitor and control production costs, including labor, raw materials, and utilities.
Optimize resource utilization to reduce waste and improve yield.
Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Customer Service

  • Solution Development

    :
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality meets customer expectations.
Address customer complaints related to production issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in audits and customer visits to represent production capabilities

What are the Critical success factors for the Role

1. Production Planning Execution

  • Assist in daily production planning to meet output targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor production schedules, shift planning, and resource allocation.
  • Responsible to initiate corrective action when there is deviation from the Operational Pre-requisite program.

2. Process Optimization

  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure minimal wastage and optimal utilization of raw materials.
  • Implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma techniques to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), rejection rate, and cycle time.

3. Quality Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards Compliance with ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and FSSAI food safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams to maintain product quality and hygiene

4. Team Management Documentation

  • Maintain production logs, downtime reports, and performance metrics.
  • Present daily/weekly reports to senior manager.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of batches

5. Safety Risk Management

  • Enforcing Occupational Health Safety (OHS) protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency preparedness training for the team.
  • Implementing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safe maintenance practices. And ensure machinery is operated safely and efficiently.

6. People Leadership Cross-functional Coordination

  • Managing production line operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Conducting training programs for skill enhancement, machine handling, and safety awareness.
Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and teamwork

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role

  • Bachelor of Degree in Engineering /Food Technology/other allied.
  • To have a minimum of 6 - 8 years experience years experience in continuous process industries, 4-5yrs experience in Food production plant (Coffee preferred)
  • Ability for Effective co-ordination and delegation among the Managers, Jr Management Staffs and shift-in-charge to produce the required quantity of quality products. Implement improve the management systems through training in shift-in-charge and training of operators and workers.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and lean manufacturing principles, Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
