Assistant Manager – Planning

Location: Noida
Reports to: Project Head
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech / B.E)
Experience: 6–8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, costing, and monitoring within the real estate or construction industry

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring across multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management tools, and close coordination with site and cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and track detailed construction schedules and project budgets using MS Project or Primavera
  • Develop and review project cash flows received from sites to monitor financial health and progress
  • Prepare and maintain project MIS including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), and other periodic updates
  • Prepare preliminary and pre-construction budgets for new project launches
  • Conduct monthly review of approved versus actual budgets and highlight variances
  • Track and analyze deviations in project cost and schedule; prepare mitigation plans for delays
  • Coordinate with site teams to monitor execution progress and identify bottlenecks
  • Develop detailed schedules for critical project activities to ensure adherence to timelines
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Design, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify challenges, and align execution with project targets

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and project monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities across functions such as Construction, Design, Procurement, and Finance
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely reporting
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving orientation, and proactive approach to project challenges
