Assistant Manager - Operations & Maintenance

Purpose/Objective

Adani Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Balance of Plant (BOP) professional with extensive experience in the Thermal Power Plant industry. This position is located in Baran, Rajasthan, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Adani's mission of sustainable energy generation. The ideal candidate will lead the mechanical BOP team, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of critical equipment within the power plant.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead and manage the mechanical Balance of Plant (BOP) team within the Thermal Power Plant. - Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines. - Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and reliability of BOP systems. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities during scheduled outages. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in BOP operations. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical engineers and technicians. - Collaborate with procurement and vendors to source spare parts and equipment as needed. - Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and downtime analysis. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mechanical BOP systems.

Technical Competencies

Expertise in mechanical systems and equipment used in Thermal Power Plants.,Proficient in maintenance practices and reliability engineering.,Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the power generation industry.,Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.,Familiarity with root cause analysis and failure mode effects analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

- 7-10 years of experience in the Thermal Power Plant industry - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
