Assistant Manager

• Build and maintain cordial relations with employees, unions, and labor authorities.
• Handle grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, and employee dispute resolution in line with labor laws.
• Support collective bargaining, wage negotiations, and union settlements.
• Conduct regular interactions with union representatives and labor offices.
• Ensure healthy workplace relations through proactive communication and engagement strategies.

Compliance & Statutory:

• Ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, etc.).
• Prepare and submit statutory returns and records as per timelines.
• Liaise with external auditors, government departments, and consultants for inspections and audits.
• Update management on amendments in labor laws and suggest compliance strategies.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks for HR & IR.

Payroll Management:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing including salary disbursement, statutory deductions, and reconciliations.
• Oversee calculation and timely submission of PF, ESIC, TDS, LWF, Professional Tax, and other deductions.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records related to attendance, leave, and overtime.
• Handle payroll queries, full & final settlements, and reporting to management.
