Assistant Manager - Logistics

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with the 3PL partner to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods. You will also be reviewing the transporter's performance based on the Turnaround Time (TAT) for delivery. Furthermore, your role will involve negotiating Full Truck Load (FTL) costs, ensuring on-time placement of vehicles, and having a good understanding of the documentation and compliance processes such as invoicing and E-waybill in B2B sales. It will be essential for you to have basic knowledge of cargo packaging to prevent transit damage. Additionally, you will collaborate with the warehouse, procurement, and sales departments to effectively manage deliveries. You will also be required to share Management Information System (MIS) reports on daily material dispatch and delivery status with internal stakeholders. Reconciliation of 3PL freight bills based on the rate agreement, coordination with insurance providers and 3PL partners for insurance claim settlements in case of loss or damage, arranging reverse pickups with accurate documentation, and collecting Proof of Delivery (POD) for upload in the ERP system will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of domestic transportation and documentation. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and time management skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Basic understanding of Excel and MS Office. - SAP HANA/S4 knowledge is an added advantage.,
