Job Description

As the Assistant Manager Leisure Travel, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting leisure travel operations. Your responsibilities include handling end-to-end client itineraries, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to the achievement of sales and service targets. Your role requires a strong understanding of various destinations, effective team leadership, and exceptional customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: - Interact with clients to comprehend their travel requirements and recommend suitable leisure travel options, both domestic and international. - Design customized travel itineraries, prepare quotations, and share travel proposals with clients. - Manage all travel-related services such as flights, hotels, tours, transfers, and visa coordination. - Coordinate with suppliers, tour operators, hotels, and airlines for bookings and confirmations. - Ensure timely and accurate documentation including vouchers, tickets, and visa paperwork. - Resolve client queries and complaints promptly and professionally. - Support the sales team in achieving monthly/quarterly targets by upselling travel services and maintaining client relationships for repeat and referral business. - Guide and assist junior leisure consultants in daily operations and support the Manager in training new team members. - Maintain accurate booking records in the system and generate regular reports on bookings, revenue, and customer feedback. Qualifications Required: - Graduate in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Business Management with 8-10 years of experience in leisure travel operations. - Good knowledge of international and domestic travel destinations. - Proficiency in GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) and travel booking platforms. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities. - Ability to handle customer issues with maturity and professionalism. - Prior experience in a travel agency or tour operations company is preferred. - Knowledge of MICE and group travel is an advantage. - Ability to work in rotational shifts (day & night shift) and rotational offs.
