The Assistant Manager Leisure Travel is responsible for managing and supporting leisure travel operations, handling end-to-end client itineraries, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting in the achievement of sales and service targets. Your role demands strong destination knowledge, team leadership, and customer service capabilities. You will interact with clients to understand their travel requirements and suggest suitable leisure travel options (domestic & international). Additionally, you will design customized travel itineraries, prepare quotations, and share travel proposals. Handling all travel-related services including flights, hotels, tours, transfers, and visa coordination will be part of your responsibilities. In terms of operations and coordination, you will liaise with suppliers, tour operators, hotels, and airlines for bookings and confirmations. It is essential to ensure timely and accurate documentation, including vouchers, tickets, and visa paperwork. Resolving client queries and complaints efficiently and professionally is also crucial. Supporting the sales team in achieving monthly/quarterly targets will be a key responsibility. You will be expected to upsell travel services including insurance, activities, and premium packages. Maintaining client relationships to drive repeat and referral business is vital for success in this role. As part of team support and supervision, you will guide and support junior leisure consultants in daily operations. Assisting the Manager in training new team members and reviewing performance will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you may need to step in for managerial responsibilities during their absence. Maintaining accurate booking records in the system and generating regular reports on bookings, revenue, and customer feedback are part of your reporting and MIS responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should be a graduate in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Business Management with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in leisure travel operations. Good knowledge of international and domestic travel destinations, proficiency in GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) and travel booking platforms, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and vendor management abilities, and the ability to handle customer issues with maturity and professionalism are essential. Prior experience in a travel agency or tour operations company and knowledge of MICE and group travel are preferred qualifications. The ability to work in rotational shifts (day & night shift) & rotational offs is necessary for this role. Location: Ahmedabad (Thaltej),
