Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kozhikode, Kochi for the position of Assistant Manager - IT. The Assistant Manager - IT will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT services, developing and implementing IT policies, ensuring network security, and managing IT projects. The role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to staff. Additionally, the Assistant Manager - IT will collaborate with other departments to integrate IT operations to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Plan, implement, and maintain hardware, software, network, and security systems.
• Oversee and coordinate IT projects such as system upgrades, new implementations, and integrations.
• Ensure robust data protection strategies, compliance with data privacy regulations, and regular security audits.
• Monitor IT systems and respond to technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
• Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting guides.
• Prepare and manage the IT department budget, forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Assist in software deployment, updates, and license management.
• Provide high-level support and guidance to end-users and arrange necessary training.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations or IT management.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management framework.
